OVERVIEW
APAC Alabama successfully completed the $17 million Dauphin-to-McGregor Roundabout project for the City of Mobile, delivering a vital north–south connector linking two major east–west corridors. The 2.5-year project began with extensive utility relocations, including a critical 20-inch SPIRE Gas main, followed by in-house demolition of the existing bridge, installation of a three-barrel box culvert, and full roadway construction encompassing excavation, storm drainage, base, and paving. A major landscaping and hardscaping upgrade—including brick pavers, lighting, and an architectural feature—transformed the roundabout into a safer traffic solution and a prominent visual gateway for the community.
